Scholarship Student Information
Housing scholarships are awarded through the Scholarship Office. A housing scholarship value varies and can be used toward all housing room types except The Heritage Apartments. There are limited number of Legacy Park spaces reserved for scholarship students each year. Those assignments are based on the original housing application completion date.
Meal Plan Options
Meal Plans are not required for students who are living at The Heritage Apartments.
Residential students can purchase their meal plans from the Office of University Housing and off-campus students may purchase their meal plan with Dining Services.

Meal Plan Terminology
Meals/Meal Swipes: Meal swipes per week to be used in the Cypress Lake Dining Room located within the Student Union or Café Fleur de Lis located near Legacy Park Apartments.
Declining balance: (DB) can be used in all retail dining locations including Starbucks, McAlister’s, Café Fleur de Lis, Jazzman’s, Smoothie King, and the Ragin’ Cajun Food Court. DB can also be used in the Cypress Lake Dining Hall as an alternative to a meal swipe or cash payment.
Residence Halls
All students living in the residence halls (Bonin, Coronna, Baker, Huger, and Harris) are required to purchase a Cajun Freedom Plan or Cajun Select Plan.
Legacy Park Apartments
Students living in Legacy Park Apartments that have completed thirty (30) semester hours or less are required to purchase a Cajun Freedom or Cajun Select Plan. Students that have completed thirty-one (31) or more semester hours are required to purchase a Cajun Freedom, Cajun Select or Cajun Classic Plan.
The Heritage Apartments
Meal plans are optional for residents in The Heritage Apartments.
