About Meal Plans
Meal tickets are an essential part of the housing contract, and students
may choose from three meal ticket options. Cost is the same for each
plan, but the number of meals and included amount of declining balance
varies. Review the options outlined in your housing application and
decide which plan works best for you. Click here for proposed 2012
- 2013meal
plan options.
Declining Balance
Declining balance is a credit amount that can be used at any of
UL Lafayette's retail facilities, such as Quiznos and Chick-fil-A,
in
place of actual
dollars. It can be used at any
time during the semester. Declining balance that is included
in the meal plan options do not roll over from one semester to the
next.
Please review the meal plan options detailed in the rate sheets above. Resident students can purchase their meal plans from the Housing Office and off-campus students may purchase their meal plan at the Cajun Cash Office. For more information on campus dining, visit the food service website.
