Choosing where you will go to college is a big decision: choosing where you will live while you are attending college is probably your next big step. At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, choosing to live on campus is a decision that can make your college life easier and more fulfilling.

The University of Louisiana System Board Rules, Section XXI, on-campus residency policy is that all unmarried, full-time, undergraduate students are required to live in on-campus housing as long as space is available. An exemption application from the on-campus residency requirements may be downloaded or obtained from the Housing Office.

Our mission is to provide a quality, professionally managed, safe living and learning experience that fosters student intellectual and social growth with concern for the indignity and individuality of each resident. Living on campus not only places you within minutes of classes but it also puts you directly in touch with all exciting campus activities.

Living on campus will help you gain personal growth and knowledge one cannot acquire in any other way. This on campus experience will benefit you for a lifetime. It's a decision we are sure you will enjoy. Living on campus adds a special dimension to your college experience and provides memories that you will cherish forever.
