Submit a Work Order
All work orders for our residence halls and apartments should be submitted through the Housing Portal.
It is the resident’s responsibility to submit a work order for any repairs needed in their room space. Any unreported maintenance issues could be deemed the fault of the resident. Only the submitter of the work order will receive updates on the request so we recommend the student always submit the work order. Never rely on another student or staff member to submit your work order. Duplicate work orders are okay.
Routine maintenance examples:
- Light blub burnt out
- Clogged toilet or sink
- Smoke detector battery
- AC filter changed
- Low water pressure
- Broken blinds
- Furniture damage
Emergency maintenance issues should be called in to your RA On Duty (listed below) or Campus Police at 337.482.6447.
Examples of Emergency Maintenance:
- Complete power outage
- Failed security devices/broken lock
- AC/heat outage
- No water or flooding water
- Overflowing toilet
- Broken windows/door (points of entry for the room)
