My College Roomie

The Office of University Housing utilizes a roommate matching platform called My College Roomie. This platform is designed for our students to help them find compatible roommates to enhance their college experience. Learn more about MCR below and see next steps after you have completed your housing application. Note: only students with completed housing applications can access My College Roomie. 

Next Steps:

  1. Create your Profile: Add your photo and populate your interests and hobbies so others can know a bit about you!

  2. Complete your Questionnaire: This is what will help you determine potentially compatible roommates! Your match scores for other users should generate within a few minutes.

  3. Network & Engage: Use the tools within MCR to view profiles, chat, engage on the Community feed, make friends and create roommate groups!

  4. Return to the Housing Portal: You must return to the Housing Portal to create and verify your roommate group. Log back into the Housing Portal and return to your Housing Application. There you can create a roommate group name and password. Share the name and password with your other roommates so they can add themselves into the group. After all members have added themselves to the group, the group leader should verify the group.

Helpful Hints:

  • You must be Friends with someone before you can send them a Roommate Request.
  • Download the My College Roomie iOS or Android mobile app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store!
